05.10.2010 / Business Day 2010: Partnership with IKEA: Event Registration is extended to 8th October

Registration for the one to one meetings in the Business Day 2010 has been extended until Friday 8th October. The event scheduled for 29th October in Trieste, promoted by AREA Science Park, is dedicated to businessmen, managers and venture capitalists from Italy and around the world looking for new markets, new ideas and new collaboration. The event is a chance to find out about the achievements, technology advancements and products developed by the most innovative businesses in one of the major Science Parks in Europe. This year, the event is being held in a new and “ technological” location: a new building, a state-of-the-art biology and chemistry centre, located on the Basovizza campus of AREA Science Park, whose generous spaces will be “on loan” to the Business Day before the biotechnology companies move in.

The furniture of the building provided the perfect opportunity for a partnership with IKEA, which has participated in the event and decided to do so by doing what it does best, furnishing homes and businesses. Through IKEA Business , IKEA also offers small companies those services that – often because of cost – are usually reserved for large businesses.

In addition to taking care of fitting out all the areas for Business Day, the Swedish company will present services dedicated to the world of business: from financing options to free interior design advice, from the chance to join the “ IKEA Business community” to promoting its work on its website. An area will also be set up at the event location where visitors can register with IKEA Business, and find out further information on available services.

At the end of the day, all the fittings and furnishings will be donated to charity organizations based in the Trieste area.
