EURAXESS – Researchers in Motion   

The EURAXESS Centre of AREA is part of a network of 17 Italian organizations, coordinated at European level, that aims to promote and support the mobility of incoming and outgoing researchers and, consequently, to increase the development of scientific reports, providing those who arrive to or depart from Italy with information and national, regional and local services.

EURAXESS - Researchers in Motion is an European Commission initiative that encompasses a series of measures to increase the attractiveness of Europe among researchers.

Objectives & Activities:
- Assistance and information on the incoming procedures in Italy
- Information on research and job opportunities in Italy
- Training and information on tools for mobility
- Sharing information and good practices

The role played by AREA

The AREA Science Park Services Centre offers researchers and research centers assistance with procedures for entering and staying in Italy and information on research and work opportunities in Italy. The Centre organizes individual meetings, as well as information and training days focused on the best ways to encourage mobility.

To ensure the best reception on site, the EURAXESS Centre of AREA collaborates with the Welcome Office Friuli Venezia Giulia, a unique information and support center for mobility students and researchers.
