The President is selected among people with experience in problems related to research, innovation policies, economic and entrepreneurial promotion, and who also have administration skills.
The President remains in office for four years and can be confirmed only once.
The President stimulates initiatives for the development of the Body’s technological and scientific research convenes and chairs the Board of Directors and Executive Committee and supervises the implementation of the deliberations.
The Board of Directors' President now is eng. Giancarlo Michellone.
