Annual degree/doctorate award in memory of Dr Bernardo Nobile

THE AWARD
Every year, the Bernardo Nobile Award is bestowed by the AREA Science Park
Consortium of Trieste on scholars whose degree or doctorate theses focus on the use of patents as
sources of information. This award was established in recognition of the high degree of
professionalism shown by Dr Bernardo Nobile, former head of the AREA Science Park Centro PatLib,
with a view to promoting studies on Documentation and Patent Information.
ELIGIBILITY
People who have received a specialist degree, a "Vecchio ordinamento" degree or a research
doctorate in the last two years before the announcement deadline (31 March 2009) from an Italian
university, without limitations pertaining to age or citizenship.
PRIZES
The Award is comprised of two prizes:
- 3,000 euros for the specialist or "Vecchio ordinamento" degree Prize;
- 3,000 euros for the research doctorate Prize.
Each candidate can participate by submitting a single application for the Prize.
