D4 PROJECT
The D4 project is a long-term initiative promoted by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and managed by a Temporary Association of Enterprises which unites bodies and agencies operating at the highest levels within the spheres of research, advanced training, socio-economic analysis and qualified services to businesses. The D4 project’s objective is to consolidate at regional level the partnership between businesses, universities and research centres, promoting the continuous exchange of skills and competences, the mobility of ideas and researchers, the joint, synergetic devising and implementation of innovative research projects, and technology development and transfer. The Project provides financial support for more than 150 researchers, graduates and final year students involved in the implementation of innovative research projects and technology development and transfer, as well as a research and study programme aimed at analysing the performance of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in terms of innovation and scientific research.
