The
Energy Innovation Network Competence Centre is based at AREA Science Park.
It offers assistance and services to all businesses in the region to help balance supply and demand in innovation within the context of energy efficiency.
In particular, the Energy Competence Centre provides support in:
- assessing optimization margins in energy consumption
- controlling the energy efficiency of production processes and plants
- using renewable sources in the production of energy
Some of the topics dealt with: - Energy saving and optimization in the plastics sector
- Recovering production waste for its use as an energy source
- Support in the certification of solar panels
- Conversion of existing plants to co-generation plants
- Analysis of the best solutions regarding plants and systems for re-using industrial waste products
- Use of renewable energy sources.
