APRE - Information and assistance with European research programmes

APRE - Agency for the Promotion of European Research, based in Rome, is
a national association that operates through a network of Help desks, including one in AREA Science
Park.
ActivitiesThe APRE Help desk carries out the following activities:
Promotion of Italian participation in the European Union research, development and technological
innovation programmes in all sectors of science and technology.
Information on funding availability, on the opportunities
for scientific and technological cooperation on a European level and on community research results
through targeted mailing, the organisation of information days and meetings with local companies.
The Help desk provides information through a
monthly
newsletter.
Assistance for companies, universities, research centres and
other bodies interested in taking part in European research programmes through the activation of a
subject-specific helpline, a help desk on the eligibility of SMEs for specific EU technological
R&D competitions and a help desk on the protection and exploitation of intellectual property
rights.
In particular, the Help desk provides
assistance for the submission of project proposals
and
project management assistance.
Provision of training services for company personnel,
universities and research centres, through the organisation of workshops and seminars on the
Research Framework Programme, the drafting of a proposal, the Consortium Agreements,
etc.
