Technological innovation, an important agreement between Invitalia and AREA Science Park
A national agreement has been reached between AREA Science Park and
Invitalia, the government agency for inward investment promotion and enterprise
development. Ithas been signed by Domenico Arcuri, CEO of Invitalia, and Giancarlo
Michellone, President of the Science and Technology Park in Trieste.
The priority fields in which the project will operate include promoting and strengthening the
interaction between research and business, enhancing intellectual property, attracting talent,
skill and investments and supporting the development of industrial districts, innovations poles and
high-tech sectors.
The Memorandum of understanding strengthens the collaborative relationship between the
agency, which is strongly committed to supporting highly innovative businesses, and AREA, committed
for 13 years to technological transfer, some of whose projects have been identified as
best practices by the European Union.
