CBM 5th Summer School on Personalized Medicine, 15-17 July 2009
The Consorzio per il Centro di Biomedicina Molecolare (CBM), launches for the 2009-2011 period
a three-year cycle of Summer Schools on "Personalized Medicine" in collaboration with AREA Science
Park and the Central European Initiative.
In 2009, the focus will be on "
Nutrition and Health", featuring lectures on the following topics:
* Nutrition and Sense organs
* Nutriceutics and food industries
* Nutrigenomics/Nutrigenetics
* Allergy and Food Intolerence
* Nutrition Related Diseases
Registration for and attendance of the Summer School is free of charge, subject to
availability.
The School funds a limited number of scholarships to cover living expenses (catering and
accomodation) for researchers who will be selected on the basis of their CV.
Please note that the
deadline for registration is 25th June 2009.
Moreover, selected students will have the possibility to present their own work during the
School. In order to be selected for the poster presentation session, please send an abstract to the
school secretariat no later than June 26th, 2009.
