MaTech Pont ® Friuli Venezia Giulia responds to these and other needs. The region’s only
specialized centre offers assistance and services to companies in choosing and using innovative
materials and technologies.
Thanks to AREA’s new initiative, all companies can now choose:
- over 1,300 innovative materials and 100,000 materials whose implementation is
already well underway in several sectors yet potentially innovative in other applications; (some
examples of materials;

professionals capable of identifying the solutions that best respond to technical,
aesthetic and economic requirements and who help companies implement new materials and technologies
in their own production processes.
You can “
get your hands on” several innovative material samples at the exhibition space at
the Polo Tecnologico di Pordenone (Pordenone Technology Centre) and thus stimulate your
inventiveness and creativity. A second access point – MaTech Corner ® Trieste – is located at AREA
Science Park.
This summarizes MaTech Point ® Friuli Venezia Giulia, a centre developed from the
collaboration of AREA, Polo Tecnologico di Pordenone and MaTech ®, the first European service
centre for companies and professionals who seek or offer innovative materials, active since 2001 at
the GALILEO ® Science and Technology Park of Padua.
