BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE: DECISION-MAKING SUPPORT FOR SMEs IN FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
SRIC-BI: updated information on emerging technologies and developing trends
High-level and concrete support to appropriately guide entrepreneurs and researchers in
their investments and R&D projects in many different technology fields.
This is the result of a recent agreement between AREA Science Park and
SRI Consulting
Business Intelligence (SRIC-BI), an international leader in tracking technology
discontinuities.
This collaboration offers companies in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region one of the best
business intelligence services on an international level, including:
- supporting company decision-making processes;
- offering references for research activities in the scientific and technology fields;
- providing support and orientation for research and innovation planning activities.
In particular, the SRIC-BI agreement allows advance identification of emerging technologies
and development trends, so as to best guide their own investments.
AREA experts will be given access to “
Explorer”, a methodology developed by SRIC-BI researchers that can be used to
collect information from a vast data bank reaching into every technology sector. The primary use of
this instrument will be directed towards deepening technical knowledge in the field of
domotics
worldwide.
Constantly updated SRIC-BI studies constitute a precious source of useful information for
identifying opportunities and threats to the industrial system of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The agreement was born from AREA’s new strategy aimed at providing regional companies and
researchers a range of excellent services, in order to help them become more competitive and
develop the social-economic fabric of the territory. In particular, this strategy has led to the
establishment of a direct line with the laboratories of
MIT - Massachusetts
Institute of Technology of Boston.
