"IRENE"
Research and innovation in the heart of Europe IRC IRENE (Italian Relay Centre North East) is a hub of transnational technological transfer and diffusion of innovation skills in the regions of Emilia Romagna, Marche, Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia. IRENE is co-funded by the EU’s INNOVATION programme and is one of the links in the European network of Innovation Centres existing in 33 countries. AREA’s regional operations within IRENE include:
- assisting industry in defining technological needs
- promoting innovative ideas at European level and, through the Innovation Relay Centre network, identifying partners for the acquisition of new technologies
- furthering the signing of transnational technology transfer agreements
- supporting research projects and technological development within the framework of the EU’s Research and Innovation programme Download the information brochure
