Abstract

An Israeli company develops and markets innovative proprietary e-Health / telemedicine wireless technology and telemedicine services. The combination of all the features in one compatible product makes this technology unique: completely wireless, can use 2 platforms: telephone/internet, allows easy integration in existing databases (hospitals, clinics, etc.). The company is interested in cooperation with foreign companies, whether as J/V or another form of cooperation.

Description

The company’s designed Telemedicine and Tele-homecare technology and service platforms are used for remote monitoring of patients at home, in the office and outdoors. The platforms enable simple, easy to use non-invasive monitoring of vital signs by applying proprietary medical monitoring devices to the patient and transmission of the collected medical data to a monitoring centre and web medical file. Using its telemedicine technologies, the company has developed a complete offering of medical life quality added value services. The system includes: secure wireless technology for medical data transmission from the patient’s environment to a monitoring centre via the telephone line or Internet, web measurements viewer and a web medical file. The data comprises of: Blood pressure, 1 Lead ECG, Heart rate, Heart rhythm regularity, Respiratory rate, Oxygen saturation (SpO2), Body temperature, Blood sugar levels (glucose) and Weight scale. The e-Health Technology Platform consists of wearable, wireless medical monitoring peripherals and gateways, which automatically transmit the patient's collected measurements via a telephone line or Internet to a sophisticated medical monitoring centre and web applications. The user-friendly medical devices can be used at home, in the office and outdoors to monitor the patient's health. The monitoring centre system contains all the required information and features to support disease management operations. The patient's medical history and collected measurements are also available and accessible in a web medical file (web viewer).

Ease of use: the telemedicine system was designed to be user-friendly thus encouraging patient compliance with the medical monitoring protocol. Flexibility: the monitoring centre application can provide different reports to support a wide range of customer needs. Technology adoption: the adoption of the telemedicine system is straight forward, since a single server manages the entire solution. Integration: the server also can communicate with 3rd party applications over web services; this capability was developed to insure an easy integration with other medical systems. Value: combing the user-friendly medical devices with a simplified monitoring centre application enables the customer to reduce the cost of support and maintenance. The modular design of the system allows the customer to purchase only what is needed now and add to the system in the future.
